Kelly is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Her dietetic internship was completed through the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and included over 1,200 hours of experience in clinical, outpatient, and management settings. Kelly furthered her education by completing her Master of Science degree in Nutrition at Texas Woman’s University. Kelly worked at CHI St. Luke’s Health with kidney transplant patients for three years before joining the Houston Methodist family. In 2018 she became a Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management. She has enjoyed working as an Employee Wellness Dietitian at Houston Methodist for the past eight years.
